The Progressives are Running

The Progressives are Running followed Democratic Socialists and other progressive candidates during New York’s 2026 primary elections. Senator Bernie Sanders, Mayor Zohran Mamdani, local political groups, and thousands of volunteers rallied behind them. This project was inspired by my friend Chuck Park, who ran a grassroots campaign against a sitting incumbent in Congress. He did not win his primary, but he did win the hearts of many New Yorkers in Queens and got over 40% of the vote.
